What I, what we do, its not rocket science… If you enjoy what you do, have fun while you’re doing it & have a good team around you, then you can create anything. If you’re not having fun then you’re in the wrong job. Stop moaning that the budget is too small, that the client isn’t cool enough, that you don’t have the resources, that your power mac G4 is too slow. Just get on with it and enjoy yourself. Life is, after all, far too important to take seriously.
All I want to do is create good work, work that I’m happy with, work that I would hold up to my mum and say ‘look what I made’. I am for all intents and purposes a multidisciplinary designer and Art director, I generate concepts, create designs, sketch, storyboard, video shoot direction, photoshoot direction, direct the process and team and hopefully inspire people along the way.
I’m hands on, I like coming up with ideas, I like creating good design. If I was to say what I specialize in, I would have to say concepting, identity & branding, multimedia design and online Campaigns. But, that is not to say that I don’t do print, packaging and all the other traditional forms of graphic design. And I thoroughly enjoy owning a project from beginning to end.
